Hardly any day passes without an article popping about Meghan Markle the Duchess of Sussex. Her sartorial choices and now her pregrancy are usually the ones that monopolize the public’s interest in the new addition of the Royal Family but I came across a really interesting article where Meghan’s former make-up artist Lydia F. Sellers has revealed some of her favorite beauty products, which range from a $20 blending sponge to a $162 face mask and I decided to share them with you on the blog.
Meghan’s former Suits make-up artist shared that she prefers having a fresh, glowing complexion. That means keeping her skin looking fabulous is a top priority. Lydia said that while they worked together, Meghan liked Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask for prepping the face for makeup.
Then she spritzes on some Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist which tones the skin and preps for the foundation.
Lydia said she likes to mix some Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Primer with Meghan’s go-to Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation which creates a ‘pearlescent, healthy glow’ — and it’s all applied with a Beauty Blender sponge.
She calls the sponge ‘the perfect tool to sheer out the foundation and ensure Meghan’s freckles were popping!’ — since Meghan likes to look natural and doesn’t want to hide her freckles.
Other favorites are an RMS Beauty Living Luminizer and MAC Eye Kohl Pencil in Teddy.
‘Meghan has gorgeous eyes, and generally goes for a smoldering, sultry look: subdued by day, and played up for the evening,’ Lydia added.
Finally, she likes Tom Ford Cream Eye Shadow layered-on Iconic London Boom Mascara and Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment which creates a natural-looking lip to balance out a bolder eye.
